For reference our IP Node:
78.141.242.233

RPC Port: 2332

Wallet console command to manually add our node:
addnode 78.141.242.233 add

Once installed, allow the UNVS Wallet to sync to see recent transactions and to mine UNVS from within the wallet.

Navigate to the top of the wallet window menu and select:
Help > Debug Window
Then select the 'Console' tab from the small pop up window.

Then follow the mining commands in the list below.

 

AFTER TYPING ANY COMMAND HIT 'ENTER' ON KEYBOARD. THE RED BUTTON IS 'CLEAR', NOT ENTER.

To Start Mining, type:

setgenerate true


To Stop Mining, type:
setgenerate false


To add one of our listed Master IP nodes to sync to, type:
addnode IPADDRESS add
( replace IPADDRESS with the IP address )


Sometimes a port is also required, in this instance, type:
addnode IPADDRESS:PORT add
( example:     addnode 000.0.00.00:2332 add )


To remove an IP from the node list, type:
addnode IPADDRESS remove

To remove an IP with port from the node list, type:
addnode: IPADDRESS:NODE remove


Within the Console window, type: help and press enter. A full list of additional console commands will be listed, but the above are the most commonly used.

When removing or reinstalling wallet software, ensure to back up the Wallet.dat file and also as a secondary precaution keep note of your wallet password.

You can also make a full back up of any previously downloaded sync'd blockchain data. To access these operational files they are usually found within hidden directory locations usually within the following:

Windows Systems:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\UNVS
(Replace USERNAME with your Windows Username)

Ubuntu Systems:
$HOME   or  Home (Folder)
Once within the 'Home' folder, press CTRL+H and the hidden .unvs folder will appear.

✪ The main wallet file is called wallet.dat

✪ You can choose to copy the whole contents of this folder or whichever parts you require.

✪ For a fresh wallet install, ensure that the appropriate UNVS related Windows or Ubuntu folder is empty first (after backing the contents up), then install.

✪ If you do a fresh install of the wallet client and desire to use the old data, simply navigate to the folder and back up and delete the newly generated contents, then paste in the old folder contents in replacement, then reload wallet.

✪ Remember, modifying and replacing operational folder contents is HIGHLY RISKY and you must ensure to be disciplined & experienced enough to do this! 

✪ As with all Wallets, do not forget your log in credentials. Back them up securely, in a safe place. There is no way to recover any UNVS coins in a locked wallet, ever.

✪ We are a full clone of Litecoin-Bitcoin Core codebase with modifications.
